A lovely sunny day!

Today was lovely and sunny and my babies played outside on the terrace outside the dining room. They had great fun and had loads of photos taken: if they are half as good looking as me, then they will be very beautiful if they are girls and handsome like their daddy if they are boys! Auntie Ruby is feeling a bit better today and had a little walk in the field with daddy.Later she ate all her breakfast and had a sleep. This morning I decided that it was time that my brother did some babysitting, so I asked him to sit in an armchair to keep an eye on things, which he did very well, considering that he is a boy!
This week, we have a lot of visitors coming, so i will probably have to have a trim and maybe a bath!

sunshine at last!

Yesterday was a great day which started off quite early with a lovely run in the field with Vijay. While we were having fun, mummy was feeding the puppies ( it's about time that someone else did some work) Later on, Karen and Laura came up and Laura loved playing with the puppies. Daddy took some photos and I will ask him if he can put one on my blog.
Auntie Ruby was a bit better today and Gareth the vet gave her some more tablets today. I hope that she will soon be all better. Another thing today that was good was daddy came home from the vet with MORE puppy toys and an automatic water dish. It's lovely and great fun to flick with paws!
Auntie Claire in London got a new job yesterday and she will be working in UCL. Ellie is very pleased and so am I!

my puppies have moved into a grown up puppy pen!!

Yesterday started with such a fuss with mummy and daddy taking down the whelping box and putting up this HUGE puppy pen. Now I think about it, I remember being in there when I was a little puppy! Daddy thought that my puppies might be a little bit worried about it, but they thought that it was great fun. Daddy had to move the dining room table so that there was room to fit the whole thing in. It's really good and I hop in and out to say a very quick " hello"to them. They are eating all sorts of things now but I like it best when they leave little bits of scrambled egg for me to eat. I made a mistake about Auntie Ellie coming to stay. She is only coming for one night to leave Faraday for me to look after while she holidays with her mum and dad. Faraday I think is a scientist, or that's what Uncle Jethro said. I'd better ask Faraday to make sure. Oh !!!! I've had a message from Auntie Ellie on comments place on my blog!! Someone IS reading it!! Auntie Ruby said that she is feeling a little bit better and she likes grapes.

new toys for my puppies

Yesterday daddy went to the pet food shop and came home with lots of new toys for the puppies. They enjoy playing with the toys and the puppies are very intelligent, but of course they take after me. They are now four weeks old and Uncle Vijay thinks that they are wonderful. Auntie Ruby has been poorly for a few days but I think that the tablets that she had are making her feel better. I hope that she gets well soon and then Auntie Faith will be happier too because they are always chatting together. Soon my Auntie Ellie from London is coming for a holiday and I want her to tell me all about the night life in London again. Uncle Ben is coming to see us soon too; he lives in London too and he is a vet. I'll bet he thinks that the puppies are the best ones that he has ever seen.
Last weekend daddy took Solly, Uncle Jethro, Vijay and mammy Calypso to a big championship show and they came home with 5 cards! I can't wait to go to shows again and eat all daddy's sandwiches!

A puppy in the pudding!

Hello again! I expect you've all missed me! Uncle Jethro said that the internet has been out of order, but I have no idea why that meant I couldn't write my blog anyway so that you could all read it. Lots has happened since I last wrote:my babies are eating lots of lovely things and I have their dishes to clean up. They are eating chicken, Beta puppy, salmon, rice pudding, goats milk, cheese. They still like to cuddle up with me, but who can blame them. I was wondering why they all walk through the food and today one of my boys fell asleep in the middle of a rice pudding.
I've had lots of lovely visitors: Uncle Len and Auntie Evelyn who have my grandfather Clancy living with them, Auntie Karen and Laura came up a few days after. Auntie Sonia and Uncle Jeff, who have my sister Molly living with them came to see us and they brought treats for us. They thought that the babies were lovely too and I was so happy about seeing them again that I was bouncing around! That was lovely. Uncle Phil and Auntie Anne are coming tomorrow and then lots of other people too. It's quite tiring.
Today was not a nice day to start though as Auntie Ruby was rushed into the vets as she had been taken ill in the yard. She has to stay in their hospital place until she is feeling better. I expect we'll send a card and some flowers tomorrow.

someone's watching me!

Yesterday was very exciting! When I woke up in the morning, I had a feeling that someone was watching what I was doing when I was washing one of my babies. When I looked round to see if it was one of my humans, I had a massive surprise. One or two of my puppies were peeping at me through almost open eyes! This is excellent as it means that soon they will be able to come out to play! Soon also they will start eating real food, although I don't know whether I am happy or sad about this. Perhaps I'll be able to eat their left overs; if so, then I'm happy.
Uncle Morri's and Auntie Ellie ( who lives in London) have a birthday soon and we will have another cake. I can't wait till the 9th August.

Granny's birthday

Granny was 12 years old on the 29th July and she is very proud of looking so young! She had a lovely birthday cake and I will try to put one of the photos of Granny Kate with the cake up on my blog as soon as I can. The puppies are growing a lot and I think that they can see a little bit now. They are walking around the whelping box now and they get around so fast that I never know where they will end up. They are very cuddly and warm and I like it that we are in the dining room with the French windows where they will be able to go out from when they are older. Granny Kate and Mummy Calypso say that I will have my work cut out then! I am looking good although I say so myself and I feel that I have been clever producing these puppies. Vijay is missing me of course, well who wouldn't but I think that he will be a good uncle when I let him meet them all properly. He had a little peep at them and wagged his tail almost off, but mummy and daddy wouldn't let him stay too long.
