This is verry essitin news and rememb yew red it ear first! Anty Claire werrks in the British Museum and she applied for a new job there. I fink I told yew before that she werks there becos she is cleva and she like old things. Not long afta daddee Morri died, Anty Faith got ill. She went to see our vets and they did scan her and tayk blood but stil they didnt no. Faith went to cambridge and they found she had pancreatitis that wouldnt stop making her sikk. She had lots of medycine and things to stop her being sick. She start to get better and Benvet brought her home. He stayed for the weekend and she was getin even better. Then she started to get ill again and she wouldnt even eet nice venison mumme and daddee bought her. She lost weight and she was tired tired tired. She wanted to go to see morrigan, her mummee katie, sister tansy, auntie billie and lots of friends. Early last tewsday, the vet helped her to go to meet her friends and relatives. She was all warm and comfy by the rayburn and went to sleep. We feel sad. Gways. xxxx we thought this poem we found was lovely.

Me sorry but thyme has gone so kwik sins I larst rote in muy bloggy. Abowt five weaks ago mummee and daddee strated to fink daddee Morrigan was not feeling veree well. He was tooken to the vet and anyweigh after lots of this and that daddee desided he gorra sea Benvet in Caymbwij. Morrigan stayed in the vetskwl. Afta a few dayz, they fownd Morrigan daddeee had got cancer. He came home for a few weeks but then he felt ill and he got werse and werse.
Yesterday daddee phoned to the vet and then Catherinevet came up to the farm. Daddee and Catherinevet and Morrigan went for a little quiet walk in the field and Morri was put to sleep with the sun shining and the birds singing. he gon to meet his Katiemummee, Louis, Harri, Ruby, Rose, Auntie Billie and lots of his friends who have gone on. Here is a little poem for daddee Morrigan.

We had some very sad news last Thursday. Our sister Tansy who had been poorly for a short time had died. Tansy was really beautiful and she was a wonderful showdog, pet and Auntie Evelyn's princess. She was 11 years and 9 months old. We found a poem just for her.

Today Grace has asked me to write this blog because I was one of Henry's team of MOUSE CATCHERS LTD. My name is Alice and I am a tortoiseshell girl cat. When I arrived on the farm I was a very sad girl because I had been not looked after well and I was being looked after then by the cats protection league. They were lovely but then they told me they had a found a new home for me on a farm. That was when I met Henry who made me feel at home and caught mice for me. He was very funny and, whatever we were hunting we had to be back to wait by the cattle grid for mummee's car when she came home from work. Then he had to run like the wind up the field and get to the pull in outside the house before mummee. Sometimes she had a treat for us. then other times Henry would dive into the car and sit behind the wheel. We all loved Henrybut he had become ill and he died before suffering. This is a poem from all of us for Henry. Goodbye dear friend. Alice and Seth ( apprentice mouser class 3) and Malachi ( apprentice mouse catcher class 2) and Yindee ( Henry's siamese friend) and all the reds.

Today it is a new year and we went to see Auntie Evelyn and Uncle Len's new puppee who is called Jimmy. he is a daschund and he is tiny but verrry funny. Hello this( picture three ) is Auntie Molly on Sunday morning. We had an odd thing happen in the night really. We were waiting ages for mummee and daddee to get up this morning. hello. I am Billie and I was named after Billie Holliday. I am 12 years old and last week my sister's mummee got in touch and today I met my sister again!!We had a lovely time and she brought her mummee and her two human brothers who I thought were lovely. We are both going grey but we had loads to talk about and next time she comes up we are going to go for an amble down the field and I can show her the views and we can sit on the seat in the arbour that uncle Mark and Auntie Claire and Ellie planted. Perhaps we can even take some nibbles to eat while we chat.
the sad thing was though that a few months ago, our sister Meg died and Molly is missing her. I thought that you would be pleased to see a photo of my daddy and me. This is me wearing my new lovely pink collar that Auntie Sonia bought me. I look really lovely.The bucket in the background is from B and Q. Last Thursday we all got ready for another show!! yes another show! This show was going to be in Monmouth. We went very very early in the morningand we got to a big enormouse field full of grass. Lots of people came to see me ( and vijay, sam and uncle jethro) They all wanted to strowk me andthe others I suppose.
Sam was in a class with lots of boys and girls and he got a yellow. Uncle Vijay got a blue and daddy was very pleased with them both. Next along was essiting BRACE class where daddy has to run very fast with two dogs with leads held wiv one hand. There were lots and lots of entries and they got a FIRST!!!!!! Then Uncle Jethro went in vintage for dogs over 9yrs old. There were 21 in the class and he got a third. He was very very tired after. On Tuesday uncle Jethro, Sam and Shaz ( and me who is Gways) went to a show in Pembroke.It was a HUGE show wiv lota lota stalls and food an so mush to buy said mummee. Anyway the essiting thing was I MET BARKLEY!!!!!!!!! Here he is! What do you fink? We will get married when we are older. I think he is bootiful. Here are some more thinks about the show:- uncle Jethro won 1st in Gundog veteran then he won Best Veteran in show. He won lotta money 15 kg of food and a shield wot has to have his name written on it. Sam got a FIRST in his class, Shaz got a third which daddee said was reely good as she hadn't been in a show for a year. We came home wiv lotta rosettes!
The ady before the show a very essitin thing happened. Antie Sonia came with my Auntie Molly, Uncle Wufus and my sister Lilly. They are staying wiv me wile their mummee an daddee away. Today was a sad day because yesterday Auntie Claire and uncle Mark had to say goodbye to Faraday cat who had been poorly. I have found this writing for her.

Hello this is Mesha writing today because I have a sad thing to tell you--well two sad things. Uncle Harri has not been too good for a while now, but Gareth our vet was keeping an eye on him and he did seem to perk up. He had some new tablets which were poorly leg tablets I think. Anyway on a Saturday morning, he got up and he was sitting in the kitchen not feeling too good. Daddy and mummy decided to go to see Gareth and Gareth said that he was very poorly: he had to go to the hospital and he was put on a drip. He had a very high temperature (106) and so they tried to get the temperature down. By tea time, he was going down hill and he died . We are all missing him. The next day, Joe the pussy cat who was 20 years old became more poorly and wouldn't eat. He had been ill for a time, but he died on Sunday. Harri loved that cat and they used to curl up together. Harri would have been thrilled to see him in heaven. Mesha Kray xx

Hello again. This is Mesha today because there is something to tell you all that needs to be spelled well! Last Friday, we were all very excited because Auntie Claire, Uncle Mark and Ellie were coming to stay with us for the weekend. They didn't come and daddy and mummy told us the reason. Poor Auntie Claire was knocked off her bike by a London bus and it went over her foot and she was taken to a big hospital and they put her in a machine to see if her insides were still there, they were! She had pictures of bones too and the bad bus had broken her foot bones. She has a very very big foot and hand and leg and can't do much.She had to be in the hospital and that's not nice is it. Harri here and I thought that I would write just a little to thank you all for your kind expressions of concern during my recent illness. I have felt very poorly and at times very shaky. However now, thanks to some excellent nursing care by Nurse Faith and a first class vet, I am now well on the way to recovery. Chipcrumb was good. It means having visitahs and cold wether and rapped up things and growing a tree in the siting room. I had lots of rapped up things that they call PRESANTS and so did all the humans. I was fritened ( not really) when they told me a man in a red outfit was going to come into my bedroom and take my sok and put things in it. Well i doan wear sock and i dont like strayng men comin into my rwm even to put things in a soc which i havnt got anyway. He didunt come. All rapped thigs under twee. Thats funny i think. Mummy had a party froc but no party to go to and so she put on coat and didnt go to a party. On the day after the boxes day ( because some things wrapped in boxes) we went to a place called Brecon. We walked round som shops and Solly and Princess Ellie come too. Mummy bort shoes to go with party dress, but still no party to go to. Praps I have a party then she can ware it. On Sunndae, gess what? We went to see anty Sonia and Unkle Jeff! They has a big rwm an a big fire wot eats lots of wood. This is Faith and I dont think that I have written on the blog before because I dont really trust the new fangled inventions and i would rather write a letter. Actually i would rather bounce about than write anything. Anyway I am looking after Harri who is very very ill with bronchitis, by the way Gways calls it BROWNKITUS just in case she refers to it. He has many tablets and he has had loads of pins stuck in him by Gareth our vet. He has a HORRIBLE cough and as a nurse I have to call mummy to give medicine in the night. Daddy gives him his tablets and I give him kisses to make him better. Hello everyone! It's a long time since we wrote on mummy's blog because we are usually so busy rushing around knocking things over that we have not very much time to sit down by the computer! We are looking wonderful and we are having such a good time with that silly puppy that the days go by too fast. She has been coming for a walk with us ( or a hi speed run in Sharapova's case -Sampras) she is not allowed off the lead for long though as she is too young to gallop and twirl about! We heard this week that Uncle Morri's girlfriend is out of hospital and mummy said that she is getting better! Good cos it's NO FUN being ill. This week Uncle Ben ( what's a vet in Londun ) was in the newspaper and we had to buy the Sun newspaper on Saturday to see the writing. We never buy that newspaper but I don't know why as I liked looking at the pictures in it. Anyway he had treated a Spaniel who had lungworm and was dying. Poor doggie he had lots of scans and thinks and Uncle Ben had heard that Viagra ( which is a human medicine for something that no one will explain to me) had been used for treating lungworm. It's high time that I was allowed to write something on, what is, after all my own blog! In case you have forgotten, I am Mesha and this is MY blog. On Saturday daddy, Jethro, Sampras, Morrigan and the baby Grace, or Gways as she calls herself were going to a big championship show. Baby developed an infection the day before and she couldn't go. She didn't actually mind because mummy was home and she said that she would take her out to give the rest of us a bit of peace! GREAT. Anyway, we all got up at 4AM and daddy and the three boys were on the road by 5AM. Mummy said that she would go back to sleep, but the baby kept singing loudly so she gave in and played with her instead!
Later on we heard that Uncle Jethro had got 1st in his class and then went on to challenge the 1st in Veteran bitch ( terrible word) HE WON. So he had best Irish Setter Veteran in show. Hi there I told you that I would write to you when I got home! This is Ellie and although I was a little bit sad to say goodbye to all my relatives I was soooooooo pleased to see my mum and my dad that I was more than happy to start packing my bags and toys and getting ready for London! Hello Princess Ellie here! I expect that you have all been concerned about my welfare since I last wrote, especially because I couldn't manage to locate dressed crab or fresh scallops. Things looked up when we sourced freshly smoked Arbroth kippers and mexican cous cous! Wonderful. Hello all, I am Miss Ellie or Princess Ellie to my friends and I have been left, no abandoned here on the mountain while my people are on safari in Botswana! I find humans beyond belief after all how could they even begin to enjoy a holiday WITHOUT ME! ? That puppy is a nightmare as she thinks that she is wonderful and the world revolves around her. How silly is that? It revolves around me!! The company here is good though luckily as I am here for a month! There are no good shops here and very few fresh produce markets similar to the ones I visit with my people in London on a Saturday. I have a feeling one would have to look very hard in Ystalyfera for a fresh scallop or a ready dressed crab. I shall let you know how things progress. Yours appealingly, Princess Elliexxxx

IT'S RAINING AGAIN!

Since last time I wrote in my blog ( this is Mesha) baby Grace has some new teeth! She was grumpy for a couple of days and one of her teeth was waggling in her mouth which made it difficult for her to eat. By the way, when I was teething, I still managed to eat the lot! She saw Uncle Gareth our vet man and he gave her some tooth medicine and then she was better AND she has some really shiney new teeth.
Last week in the rain, daddy had the dining room doors open so that we could go outside onto the terrace. The rain got worse and we had a big flood outside which we all jumped in and had real fun. The rain was in the dining room too and that was really good.
For the last two weekends we have been to shows and we have done well too. The drawback is we had to get up at 4.00AM on both Sundays!! This weekend, I am going to sleep all day, both days!! Mesha x

Today was a mixture of happy and sad for us. We were sad because our friends, Molly and Rufus are going home today, but happy because they are pleased that their mummy and daddy are coming home. Molly said that they were diving where there were sharks and Rufus said that he would be very very scared to dive and especially where there were sharks. (although we were not sure whether or not he knew what sharks are )Auntie Jackie came to see us today and brought another one of Morri's girlfriends. Mesha xx
This is Grace now! I saw a picture of a shark in a book and I can make a really good sharky face when I chase the others! I went to a show thing on Saturday and Uncle Jethro got best veteran but I don now what it is. He had 2 rosettes and he was happy. There were lots of stalls there selling things and a Police Dog team showing what they do. I think that when I am a bit older, then I will be joining the police dogs and running after naughty people. I am so sorry that I haven't written for a while, but life with a puppy is busy and now she wants to try to write something about her visit to Uncle Jeff, Auntie Sonia , Molly and Rufus's house! Hope you are ready for this, by the way her name is Grace, full name is MAESCARTREF AMAZING GRACE AT MAESFFYNNON!!! What airs and graces!
I went in car and we went lots of miles and we saw big house and evrywon outside to see me. went up to a man and knocked out his toof but he didnt mind. went into lovy garden and played with anty molly and ran and ran and ran but Rufus not keen on me. went into house too and wee on a cushin but no one minded ate plant but no one minded that . ate mytea and went home and Anty Molly and Uncle Rufus comingh for holiday soon. Well, this is a novelty. I never seem to get to the computer without SOMEBODY wanting to say something in my blog! This is Mesha and it is, after all, MY blog. The others are asleep in the sun, including THAT puppy who has everlasting batteries. This week, she is having her second injection and that means that she will be able to go out with us for short walks. She won't be allowed to run in he field for months yet as she is too young! GOOD. Also I have heard her boasting that she will be going to visit Auntie Sonia and Uncle Jeff: well I will go somewhere that she will be very jealous of, like Lego land or Longleat so there! Actually she is good fun and Vijay is in love with her. My babies were one year old last Saturday and that time has flown. They will be doing their PhD 's before we know it. Or working in the film industry because they are good looking like me!Mummy- the human one- is going to the Royal Welsh show this Thursday and I know that she will bring me something nice back! Well I hope so anyway! I am going out in the sun now with the others. Mesha x

South Wales kennel championship show

Yesterday, Daddy, Shaz,Vijay and Solly went to a big show. Guess what? Vijay won his stud book entry so we were all pleased, uncle Solly got a Reserve. Vijay got a big rosette and solly got a new collar from his mammy, Jackie. Uncle Morrigan's daughter won Best Puppy Bitch. I hope that Grace will be able to come soon cos then they will all see how grown up I really am!
Another good thing is, mammy has finished school for the summer so I must try to be helpful! Sharapova xxx

This has been such an exciting day. I knew that we were going to have one of Uncle Morrigan's babies to live with us but I didn't realise that it would be so much fun!She spent the first night in the dining room with me and Vijay. Daddy slept in the armchair to keep an eye on things! We were all very very good. She has met all of us but I expect that she likes me best of all. I can't really remember when my puppies were so small! Mesha xx

lots of shows and a very big storm

Hello all ! The weekend before last I went to ANOTHER show. It's such a laugh because I find it difficult to stand still and daddy tries not to get cross. Anyway I went in this huge ring with lots of girls and no boys to beat up! Anyway I ran around very nicely then I got itchy feet and I didn't stand for the judge lady to look at. I looked at her WHILE jigging around so SHE could have looked at me. Anyway I still got a number 4 place so dad wasn't too cross.
The next day some of us went to the Swansea show. Uncle Jethro won a big big class of all variety dogs . There were either 17 in it which is right mummy said but I thought it was 170 or 500. Anyway he did well and WON IT and we had to go back Monday to challenge best Veteran from the Monday show. Uncle Solly got a Second and I think he was too fast for the judge to watch because the judge couldn't keep up watching him. I got a YELLOW rosette. On the Monday we went back and I knew Uncle Jethro would win. Well he would have but they had to close the show because of the very bad weather. We all had to go to the nearest gate and the Army escorted us out. What fun. We went home and had food then a nap. Then I beat up Sampras who was still asleep! Sharapova xxx

The Royal Welsh Smallholders' Show

Well I don't know! Last Saturday we went to a big well very very big field and there were tents and lots of funny coloured dogs and people and burger vans! Sampras came and my mummy Mesha and Uncle Solly. We all went into a big sort of tent but which would be big enough to be a house! Lots of people came to make a fuss of us, well of me really. After lots of time and sleep, we went outside to the grass and the Gundog ring. I had loads of fun bouncing about in my class and showing how much I could wriggle. I got a yellow and I wanted a red because I like red. I also like purple and white though. Anyway, Sampras went into his class which was Junior( because daddy can't show both of us in one class)He got a red and the he got BEST PUPPY in breed. I should have got that! Mummy was in a big class with lots of boys and only one girl. There were 100 in the class or 12 I can't count very well yet. She got a yellow which was really good because the boys have big show off coats. We sat and watched some more judging and I wriggled into the ring so got told off. On Sunday daddy and mummy went to see Ellie and Morrie's puppies. They said they are lovely! Sharapova xxxx
